Bea Udeh

Bea Udeh is Head of Diversity at the Arts Marketing Association (AMA). She has worked in the arts and cultural sector for over 25 years with expertise in audience development, cultural strategy and small business entrepreneurship.

At the Arts Marketing Association, Bea leads on Equity policy development and strategic approaches to inclusivity and diversity. She uses her skills of working in the aero-engine, media, education, and arts sectors to challenge systemic practices that marginalise voices by raising awareness of infrastructural discrimination and anti-Blackness.

Bea has previously worked as the Programme Producer for AMA as well as working as an independent arts consultant, producer, and writer who’s commissioned work covers poetry, creative and critical genres. Bea was project manager for the Real Creative Futures programme, providing ERDF creative business development support to start-ups residing in Nottingham City and is currently a board member for Alternative Futures Group and a panel member for Active Derbyshire.

She can also be seen sharing her spoken word poetry at local open-mic events.
