John Wright, University of Leeds

John is a lecturer in Cultural and Creative Industries at the University of Leeds, where he co-leads the Performance and Cultural Industries PLACE research group. He is also a member of an artist-led initiative and has a background working in museums and galleries. His research focuses on place, culture and policy and he’s interested in the role of culture(s) in shaping places and the value systems that are used to understand culture-place relationships.

John was also previously Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Centre for Cultural Value.
